It all started in Agumbe, Karnataka
I and Bharath had been to Sringeri from Bangalore in June 2009. I had Sony Cybershot DSC-T100 8.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot (Black) camera which I bought during a visit to Melbourne in 2007. This was my first camera and it made me love photography!
On the way to Udupi from Sringeri, we both got down at Agumbe check post. We walked down to a pond next to the checkpost to click some photos. The bird in the pond sitting or may be standing on a log, without moving a feather or blinking made me eager to take some photos.
This is DUCK, and log was floating on the pond. Initially, I thought it might be an artificial duck as it was very much still. Supporting to my belief it was standing on one leg. Few seconds later it moved its head, that is when I realized it is actually a live duck. This black winged white duck with red nose was bigger in size than usual ones you see around.
Later on…
These were my first photographs of a bird and I was impressed very much by these photos. Well, but it did not motivated me so much to take more photographs of other birds. It was just for that instance I loved to take photos of this bird. On the other hand I always wanted to capture good photos of anything I see. I continued my photography with the same camera for few more years.
Sony Cybershot T100 was 8.1MP camera and it was the top camera which I had in 2007 compared to my friends with their 5MP cameras. There was one thing which I was unhappy with this camera. Every photos I captured had a color noise. I compared some photographs which was taken using 5MP cameras. Most of the pics I captured were with high ISO and the worst part was I never realized that this was because of ISO. Until I bought my first DSLR Nikon D5200 few months before a degree course in visualization in 2013.
Here are other snaps from this camera.
